Will the focal plane shutter outlive my leaf shutter?

Probably stupid question but I own the 110mm Leaf SK lens. Should I turn the leaf shutter off and use the focal plane shutter the majority of the time to "save the leaf shutter". I was wondering if i should only use the leaf shutter when I need the fast sync speed. Thanks

It's certainly an option in the camera and available to you if you'd like.
Both Shutter's are warrantied to 100,000 captures or 1 year. So, if you're not using the features of a Leaf Shutter, theirs no need to have it fire.
