IQ4 Live View Lag and Lightness/Quality control

Postby NN636537254156004377UL » Fri Mar 08, 2019 1:14 am

Hello!

Anyone else have lag issues in live view when tethering? Wondering if there will be an update with speed of refresh. I recently moved up from an IQ3 100MP and the live view was much better on that version. Major pain for still life photography when the subject needs very minute moves.

Also, has anyone noticed that lightness/quality is grayed out with the IQ4? Is this because of the exposure simulation feature of the IQ4? Would be nice to just have that back when focusing/composing in a dark environment.

Thanks!
Taylor

hy,

i have the same Problem with the Live Liew... but with the IQ150.
In 8/10 times the Live View stays black after 20 or 30 sec the picture shows up sometimes. and it is super super slow when you zoom in or anything;-(

But I heard this problem will be fixed within the next firmware

so lets hope that the firmware will bring massive improvements.

Hi
Firmware 1.03 has implemented Auto Gaining in live view if Exposure simulation does not work for due to long exposure times.
Update the firmware and it will probably give you a better experience.
Note that you will have to switch Auto on to change mode.
