white vignette

Postby Pareshk » Sun Nov 18, 2018 8:11 pm

Hi - I sometimes like a white vignette, somewhat like pix taken in fog, but it's usually too bright. Any suggestions on how to achieve a softer look without reducing the exposure of the subject? Thanks.

Are you using the Vignette tool?

If so try creating your own vignette with a layer or two?

Yes i use the vignette tool but it only works on the background, not layers. How could i create my own vignette in layers?

Use exposure/levels/brightness - whatever settings you need for the image and draw your own vignette mask(s)?
