add global filter / hide pictures

Postby mmjaeger » Wed May 30, 2018 11:54 pm

Hello
I was wondering whether there is a way to hide some pictures in a catalog based on e.g. a certain keyword - something that was easy to do in Aperture?

Thank you in advance for your input.

Create a smart album that has criteria keyword does not equal (or does not contain) the keyword you wish to exclude.

I don't see how that would prevent anybody from seeing some sensitive images when viewing any other smart album or click on all images - it would have to be a more global setting.

For sensitive pictures, the only really safe approach is to move them into a different catalog.
