Anyone Use Capture One on ARM processors?

Postby pope » Wed Oct 02, 2019 6:24 pm

So today Microsoft just announced the Surface lineup for 2019 (and 2020 with the foldable devices). From that, the Surface Pro X looks kinda dope. It's an ARM processor with 8 cores (if I recall correctly), but has its own GPU which doesn't support OpenGL.

So that got me curious, would Capture One run nicely on that kind of machine? Has anyone had an experience with WIndows ARM and running Capture One or Photoshop or Affinity Photo to know or get an idea? My hunch is that PhaseOne would need to do some optimizations for that device to make edits work nicely - but I would love to be wrong.

Thanks in advance.
