u cant edit with . Capture One Express 12 fuji

and there stil not afix for tis .. is really having me thinking how the software overall .. it feels poor and cheap i know the pros useing it .. tbh only reason i use it having to deal with the RAF files ... but alot of pro use other things as well..

im new to PHASEONE but tbh i cant not understand why this is not fix yet even adobe have been fix a big problem like this. I do real work in PS 98% of my time. i dont see Capture One 12 can do the same as PS can sorry.

i was thinkin of geting the full vision but its just meeeh i be waiting for Lum3 with libs to see how the handle the RAF files from Fuji and its way more cheap and Lum4 kinda have way better options to be creative with. But i have to wait to dec 18 to see if, Lum3 vs Capture One ,, i dont care if the pros use this or that... photography subjective i only using COE is of the worns from fuji in LR when i using XT1 as soon i get my XT3 i hear that LR is good and dont haing the problems ..

if PHASE what get people to use the software, make it cheapper 50% of something is better in 50% of noting.. commen senes..

Happy with the performance, little annoyed I missed out on the free upgrade by 2 weeks.

Can't have it all.

Still waiting yes or no!
I'm far from the only one that thinks this is bad business practice but maybe you get paid to defend them???

Hi NN635398439392572200UL, I went through your posts (just 18 as of this moment) and they are all complaints and arguments going back and forth.

The topics are the same. You twice bought Capture One just before a major upgrade's grace period started. You buy a camera that is not (yet) supported.

You complain and seem to desperately waiting for confirmation from other users to choose your side. You ask for an opinion but find it hard to swallow one if it does not support your argument. You love to debate, call 'Adobe' or 'Lightroom' for comparison to make your point of how bad Phase One is.

Has it ever occurred to you that most of us are happy with Capture One and Phase One in general? Yes, we have our differences, look critical, but no, we are not paid to say things. Yes, we devote lots of your spare time voluntarily to support this user community that strives to learn and master Capture One.

And that brings so much joy, I can tell you.

Glad you have so much time on your hands and keeping the thread alive. So I guess you think it is good policy too? At least it's in your best interests to keep Capture One in a good light.

Just to keep you up to date - i opened a support case 20 days ago - and did not even get a short reply to this up to now. So i have to assume that nobody is interested in my inquiry. Well, it was really stupid from me to pay for the upgrade without testing it before. Looks like i have to wait for C1 13 until i can went away from my Version 11.

I think you misunderstand Paul's position. Being a Phase One certified professional does NOT mean that he works for Phase One - he is just a user of the software who has a certification in its use, and he is NOT paid by Phase One.

Yes, I already know his website and I have contact with him on Facebook. There is nothing there that says he is an employee of Phase One. Though, no doubt, he can speak for himself.

Thanks Ian for your effort and explanations. User NN635398439392572200U made an unmotivated statement regarding my relationship with Phase One. He is free to do that. He now closed the case. He is also free to do that. He gave me some free publicity regarding my website. I am grateful for that.

Now we can continue to focus on what is important, that is Capture One and its users, and help them get the max out of it.

Enjoy!

His lively hood is in step with Phase One's an individual does not have to work directly for a company to profit from them. Although he and his 9,000 posts maybe to be helpful it's also good advertising. His defense of bad policy helps no one but keeps his advertising fresh so there is that. I only wanted to make clear Phase One's bad policies many people get caught up in them. As customers we can choose to accept bad policy or speak out against it. I guess you know my position.

Don't know why you guys are all piling on "NN635398439392572200UL" or why you feel the need to tell them their opinion is invalid. They're entitled to theirs just as you are entitled to yours. And to be honest, I can empathize, seems like legit complaints. Enough to quit C1 or even complain? Opinions apparently vary, but that doesn't make each opinion wrong.

NN635398439392572200UL is entitled to his opinions about the software, and to air them here. But he is less entitled to make unfounded accusations against respected members of the user community.

Nobody did that - it's his snotty, entitled attitude that's being commented on, not the point he's making.

I think in some strange way you read more into my comment than what was there. That's your hang up. I said this policy sucks in no uncertain terms and my observation of companies that resort to these methods of generating cash. I feel personally people defending Phase ones policy should do some soul searching.

Actually original post quote in case you forgot.
"I'm a long time user. Upgraded to V11 2 months ago and I have to pay full upgrade $149 again for V12 NO DEAL! Customer service is the first to go when companies are failing. I can only deduce this is the case time to research alternatives."
