Fail loading settings

Postby NNN636636481943307953 » Fri Jan 04, 2019 7:54 pm

Hello,
I have an issue since few days with CO that I'm not able to solved.
I shot some pictures during Christmas and I wanted to edit them right away but I was away from home so I downloaded on my old Macbook pro a trial version of CO 12 and I did my editing.
But now I'm home and I want to finish the editing on my computer (Windows 10) with my CO 11.
I triyed to create a new session with CO 11 and then replace the "Capture" folder from the CO 12 session then rename the settings folder in "settings110" but when I open my session all the settings are not loading...

Do you have any advice ?
Thanks a lot

Settings are not backwards compatible. Either upgrade your CO11 to CO12 or start over again with your adjustments.

Thanks Paul.

So, there is nothing possible to do from CO 12 to save the session or the pictures in a format who kept the settings and who can be open in any older CO version like any Adobe sofware ?

I already triyed to compresse them in .IEP but it didn't worked.

Thanks

Not in a user accessible way at least. I do not think you plan to hack each of the settings files to make Capture One think it is from CO11.

It is a pity you did not install CO11 for trial in the first place on your travel laptop. Lesson learned.
