Please post resources for learning scripting for Capture One:

I'll start...
MacScripter: macscripter.net one of the best communities/forums for AppleScript
Script Debugger: Like AppleScript Editor on steroids: http://latenightsw.com/

Is better documentation on the way? that's definitely been an issue from my point of view going back to the beginning.

Thanks.

In my experience the best documentation of code is a set of working examples with comments.

That's exactly what the DT Building Blocks - Scripting is: https://digitaltransitions.com/product/dt-building-blocks-applescripts/.
