I had one for a while, but while it was fine as far as optical quality I found it less than practical in the field. The combination was just too slow. This was with an IQ2 80 so I was ISO limited. With a CMOS sensor it may be more workable. If you are shooting something standing still from a tripod it should work, but I’ve taken to either living with a 2x crop in post or when I’m shooting moving wildlife I use a smaller format camera with a longer reach. As far as the 2x converter goes it’s probably better suited to the 150 lens.
