using schneider lens with old manual bellows

Postby wtheis » Fri Sep 21, 2018 8:07 pm

I have an old manual bellows that has no electrical linkage to the camera. I can put my Phase One/Mamiya mount lenses onto it but there is no way to control the f/stop aperature... or is there? I was going to use the focal plane shutter but not being able to set f/stop is a show stopper. BTW this bellows has swing/tilt

If it has not electronic connectors on it then you cannot use it with modern lenses as there is no path for the camera to communicate to the lens what aperture to use etc.

What you can use it for is for Mamiya C lenses which are purely mechanical and have an aperture ring to control aperture.
Kind Regards
