Feature Request

Postby Peter72 » Tue Sep 27, 2016 7:20 pm

Hi everyone! We use the focus stacking feature almost every shoot. You know what would be great? If the number for the lens position/focal point could show up in the metadata similar to how it works with the Hyperfocus tool. Does that make sense? This would also help differentiate where consecutive focus stacks begin and end in the browser. That's all, thanks for listening!

Hi

Capture One kind of does this today.
Image files are tagged with Sequence ID
It also show you sequence info: Sample "4/25" ( 4 out of 25 images.)

You can also right click on one of them and choose "Select by Same" -> "Sequence ID"
Now you have selected all image in one focus stack which you can then move to the same folder.
OR
Right click again and choose Create Album From -> Sequence ID
Now you have the focus stack in an Album by it self.
Kind Regards

Thanks Ulf! That is very helpful. I will definitely be using that selection method in the future.
