Hi James,

the XF fits my needs, but I'm no portrait photographer.
You can try it yourself: https://www.phaseone.com/en/DemoSignup/Request-A-Demo.aspx

Hello James,

The XF is great for studio portrait photography as well as many other types of photography. The advantages of the XF system are that it is firmware driven. With firmware updates come new tools and features while the XF body stays the same. There have been 4 major updates since its release. The tools and UI (User Interface) has only gotten better with a more friendly customizable UI functions. AFr (Auto Focus-Recompose) is a feature that helps with keeping the same fouse point after recomposing. A fair number of portrait photographers use this feature.

Feel free to reach out to us for more information.

Friendly,
