How to get the picture back from the trash ?

Postby isjn » Mon May 27, 2019 9:11 pm

I delete a picture and then want to bring it back to the same place (folder) - like 27 May. Seems impossible, dragging does not work, by putting it back to "all pictures" , it does not appear any more in 27 May folder

All pictures is effectively a smart album, not a location. Are you in a session or a catalog? You should be able to drag a photo out of the trash into a real physical folder (not an album) so for instance in a session from the trash back to the Selects folder.

Go to your Library tools group, and then the Trash Folder. From there you can select files and use the menu: File>Move to Selects Folder [CTRL+J], or drag the file(s) to the place where you want it to be.

Which trash? A C1 trash folder or System trash?

Mac or Windows?

Grant - this is a 6 month old thread which some new user has revived in their first post. (Spam?)

Good point!

Didn't spot that for once ...

If spam preparation the bot's are getting more refined at creating sensible looking text.

Thanks Ian.
