XF system with Credo 80 backfirmware updates

Postby NN636867934877038775UL » Fri Nov 13, 2020 10:50 am

Hello everyone, I have acquired an XF system body with a Credo 80 back, I would like to update the firmware for the XF, which I don't think has ever been done. I have a few questions.
1. Will I need to update firmware in the order it was released or is it possible to jump in at the latest version?
2. Will a firmware update affect the operation of the Credo back?

Also, when I have attempted to use the Live View function the image quality on the back is very poor as is the quality when using Live View in Capture One 20, I presume that this is due to the Credo's limited compatibility with the XF system?

I'd be grateful for any advice please!

Contact support and we will guide you to correct firmware.

When it comes to live view you should be aware that this is not a CMOS back which can produce a video stream with 24fps.
This is a CCD back which have no shutter on the sensor and only provide 1 or 2 frames per second...
