Dear All,

I have a new Credo 40 and the DF+ and I am facing a problem.

The camera would suddenly shows "Cap db" on the LCD and inside the view finder during capture. The camera would then has to wait for 10-15s until it would be able to do another capture. And of course the same thing would happen after this second capture too..... I put it down for a while, some time the problem would go away, but some times it won't..... a bit frustrate.

I have tried reseting everything. unplug everything and reconnect, including the batteries, lens, etc.... I can't imagine anything else I can do.....

So, brothers and sisters, any thoughts on this?

Check that you have the latest firmware installed on both the camera body (2.20, under C-99) and the Credo back (2.01.12); you can download the formware and the instructions from our website:

If updating the firmware doesn't resolve the issue I suggest that you contact your Mamiya Leaf dealer and have them look at the camera

Hi Yaya,

Thank you for your suggestion.

Of course, I have contacted them. And their suggested solution was, guess what, down grade the firmware. I had the most updated version when I was having the problem.

Just want to know if anyone of you experienced a similar problem and know the cause of it.

Thanks anyway.

What CF card are you using? I noticed I was getting this issue quite a bit. I replaced my old/slow SanDisk Extreme card with a newer SanDisk Pro card and haven't had the issue since.
