new credo 40

Postby wphotol » Thu Aug 23, 2012 5:32 pm

Just received my new credo 40 few comments. Cant believe that is was sent without any documentation. like buying a new car without a manual. However it appears to be very user friendly and a great product. Wish they would have kept in the + or - information on exposure like in aptus II The histogram and highlight blinky is great but a helpful idea of how much to change exposure would be nice. Also a protective cover for the glass would be nice as it is rumaging around in my backpack attached to the camera. My only other wish would be to do file naming in the camera. Cant wait to go out and photograph sunflowers next week with the new back

Got mine same day, wphotol.
Credo is real light-eye. Yesterday in my location, wasn't sunny but today it makes it colored.

Nothing is wrong except my ... liveview function. It's another thing to fix.

well to be correct it isn't true. my liveview function was ok. It's a mistake from me not from the back/camera.

How do you get live view to work?

I'm using 7.1.5

Depends your camera. By memory, put the 645 with time or blub fonction to fix curtain open. Then try differents sets of apertures. Don't forget to set your back on liveview. IMO I use my compact flash. It's faster.
Another thing to do is working tethered with the FireWire 800 cable and a laptop. CO has some commands to pilot your back and 645.
Good Luck with Credo System.

Live View via USB has not been implemented yet. You can either use Firewire or the LCD on the back
