Hi everyone,
we are a french cgi studio, and we are currently reviewing the IQ4 specs for an upcoming shooting.
We did some tests to get the IQ4 work with a Augmented Reality system, so the photographer can see in a livefeedback his framing with a 3D model of a car which is matchmoved in realtime. That way, he can shoot backplates with the virtual car directly onset.
We are using the HDMI output to achieve that, BUT, we ran into some weird issues. First of all, to convert from HDMI to USB-C, we are using a Blackmagic ultrastudio minirecorder. It converts the HDMI signal to a live stream on the computer. It works with every camera we used so far, but not the IQ4. There doesn't seem to be able to handle the signal.
Of course, we tested the IQ4 HDMI output with a TV, monitor, etc, and it works well. On most of them. Because, some tvs were not able to handle the signal.
So, here is my question. What are the precise specs of the HDMI output? Is it HDMI 1.0, 1.4, 2.0? Is it a 4K signal? Is it a 1080p60 or 1080p50 signal?
I hope my explanations were clear enough. Thank you for your kind answers and enlightments.
Fred
