IQ4 HDMI out question

Hey, I’m switching over from using the H6D Hasselblad system over to the IQ4 system for use on a drone and had an issue with the hdmi output that I was hoping others may have found a solution for.

On the 150MP back, both HDMI liveview out options crop the image to either 16:9 or 4:3 which is keeping us from actually framing a proper image when the camera is in the air. On the H6D I had to make a mount with the waist level finder that I could put a GoPro into so that I could see the whole image since it has similar issues.

Thanks for you help!

HDMI is made for video and the acceptable aspect ratios are 4:3 or 16:9.
Due to this, it is simply not possible to provide a 3:2 ratio which the sensor is.

Hi Ulf,

I got my hands on the camera today and got to test the two modes and saw that the 4:3 HDMI does have the entire 4x5 frame with bars on the side, so it does everything that I need for a video feed. The live view also stays active when triggering the shutter via S.Bus so all is well!

Thanks a lot!
