Black reference frame

Postby docholliday » Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:20 am

Any chance of getting something like the IQ4 Prerecorded for the older IQ2 firmware (IQ250)? Even a half-way compromise would be very helpful for long exposure (or the ability to simply disable it, ignoring the consequences). There's many times during long exposure where the content and timing is more important than getting a "perfect" shot...

Hi
Sorry to say that this feature is not available on backs pre-IQ4 series which is a completely new hardware platform.
This new platform has allowed us to implement features like this.

There's no way to simply disable dark frames altogether?

Hi
I am sorry to say there is not as this would affect the image quality in a negative way.
