Aptus 8 error code

Hi, i have just bought a leaf aptus 11 8 digital back, which when tested on my camera at the time i bought it worked perfectly, when i got home and put a brand new new sandisk extreme 64 gig 120mbs udma7 card in which had been formatted on my pc i get an error message stor bd, the back is talking to the camera ok because i can get focus and all the readings i need, also the back will not format the card again i get an error message the back has encountered a problem, is this because the back needs a firmware update to be able to use up to date cards, when the back is switched on the light is always red and never goes green, but i can use all the menus and and set up screens.

Double check Leaf/Phase One's site. I think the back is to old for UDMA7.

I see UDMA 6, with max of 32G supported.
