DP-67 on Dell/IPAQ Bluetooth Problem

Postby NNN635180513470788572 » Wed Nov 06, 2013 6:27 am

I have recently purchased a Leaf Valeo 22 wi which included a Dell Axim X51v Pocket PC. It had leaf DP-67 software installed version 1.3.2. I can run the program, click on File and Transport - bringing up the transport screen. Serial is selected and I do not have a serial cord. I cannot select bluetooth - I get an error sound when I try. Yes, Bluetooth is enabled and the blue LED is flashing. I also have a HP IPAQ 4150, and installed Leaf DP-67 1.3.2, same situation. I have tried it with the DB on and the AUX port flashing amber, still no luck. I can see the DB from the Pocket PC bluetooth manager. Anyone have experience with this one. I searched the board, but have not found a clue. Jeff.

IPAQ Pocket PC version 4.20.0 Build 14053 ROM-1.10.03, Bluetooth firmware 3.16 hardware 1.3 Software 1.4.1.75

An update on this problem - Bluetooth still can not be selected on the DP-67 software for the IPAQ 4155 and the Dell Axim PDA's.

I had a IPAQ HX4700 shipped in, and it works perfectly :) . I was able to select Bluetooth, connect, and sync with the digital back.

I'd like to get the other two PDA's working if i can, but I thank all who have read the post, I understand that it may not be an easy problem to correct. Jeff.

Hi,
I have the Ipaq HX4700 that is running WM 6.5 and I have the problem of not being able to select the Bluetooth...similar to the problem you were having with the other pocketPCs. Which version of WM is running on the HX4700 you are using with your back? I'm wondering if the operating system is the issue??

Thanks,

Tru.

Please note that the DP-67 software was developed to work on WinCE, Win2003SE and on some early versions of Win Mobile 4. It was not developed beyond that so it is likely that the newer OS that you are running is the source of the problem.

You can try the later Leaf WiView software, this used to run on Win Mobile 5.0 so this might help. If not then an older iPaq is probably your best option.

Contact our Support team and they should be able to provide a copy of WiView.

Hi,
I am successfully running with Windows Mobile 2003 SE version 4.21.1088 build 14132 on the HP HX-4700.

Hope that helps.

Hi,

I thought the reason for it not working might be because of the OS.

I was able to load Leaf WiView onto the HX4700 running WM 6.5 and it works great with the back.

Thanks for the help!!
