Hi Forum,
New here. Starting to collect these older backs as I am quite interested in them.
I am interested in the Leaf Valeo/Aptus series. I am wondering about the adapter plates needed.
I have a Leaf Valeo 11 in V Mount. I would like to mount that to my RZ 67 IID.
Will the RZ 67 adapter plate that connects the Leaf Valeo 11 V mount back to the RZ 67, be able to used to connect other Leaf Backs in V mount to the RZ 67?
To say it another way, if i get an adapter plate that connects to the RZ on one side and to the the Valeo 11 that is V mount on the other side, will that same RZ to V mount plate work for other V mount Leaf backs as well?....
OR.....is each back different in some way resulting in each back needing its on adapter plate specific to the back model?
Example.
A leaf Valeo 11 in v mount fitting -> RZ67 = a part number for the plate, lets say, 0001
Will a Leaf Valeo 17 in v mount fitting -> RZ67 = the same part number as above (0001)? Or will it be a different plate part number specific to the the Valeo 17?
Will a Leaf Valeo 22 in V mount fitting -> RZ67 = the same part number (0001)? or will it be a different plate part number specific to the Valeo 22 ? etc
I am trying to understand the adapter plate situation as it pertains to the Leaf family of backs from the Valeo 11 through to Valeo 17, to the Valeo 22 and on into the Aptus family, the Aptus 22, Aptus 65, Aptus 75, Aptus54s and then into the Aptus-II 6 and finally the Aptus-II 10.
Is it the same V mount back plate to RZ 67 for all these backs or do the plates change from model number to model number or family to family..ie, Valeo backs use the same plates, but the Aptus series use a different plate and the Aptus II series use a different plate yet again?
Trying to understand the situation how the Leaf Digital back to RZ 67 adapter plate story works
Thank you to anyone who can enlighten me.
