Once again I have to deal with a mirror lock up on a DF+. And it always has to happen in the middle of a job. The camera just goes inert, with the mirror lock up! I take the lens off, then the back and also remove all the batteries. Putting it back together does no good. I have to wait between 15 minutes and sometimes over an hour before putting it back together and turning it on where it will work again for a few days. In between I have to fire up my older P25+ on a Mamiya AFD!! with multiple adaptors ( FW400 ) in order to continue working. This is not a quality I look for in a system. Speaking with other colleagues who own a DF or DF+, they all say the same thing, that you just have to get used to it! Having been a Phase One devotee for nearly 20 years, I feel let down. Are there any other users out there who feel that Phase One should admit they got it wrong with the DF and DF+, and propose solutions, other than hefty repair bills!
