Schneider Kreuznach 120mmTS on DF+

Postby Tom3347 » Sun Mar 13, 2016 4:12 pm

Hello,
ich have a Schneider Kreuznach 120mm TS for "tryout". Ich have already a Phase DF+. How does the exposure work? I know it is a manual focus lens. This is clear. But is the exposure measurement of the DF+ manual with this lens too?

Waht is the workflow with exposure? Try and error? No..i cant believe this.
Thank you.

Hello,

It is a mechanical lens, so the Aperture is set on the lens itself rather than from the body. Shutter speed will still be set from the camera body.

Hello Jon,
Thank you for your info.
I still use the lens in this way. But the DF+ can not "calculate" the exposure time.
This is my workflow:
1) Focus the lens manually
2) Set the apperature manually at the lens
3) DF+ set the Body at A for aperature
4) The time should be calculated ? Yes? No?

Or is it a totally Manual lens? The Body can not calculate the time?
Thank you.

In this scenario, set the body to P for Program. Because we won't have aperture info, the Ax mode will not work.
