Mamiya 645DF/DF+ sync speed

Postby NN201134UL1 » Mon Aug 03, 2015 9:03 am

Hello,

I am looking for info regarding sync speed of Mamiya 645DF/DF+ with LS lenses and Aptus 22 digital back .

Also, does an upgrade to a more recent back (Aptus II, ...) change the max sync speed with LS lenses ?

With a LS lens you should be able to use any shutter speed up to 1/800. If you have the vertical grip I believe that allows you to go up to 1/1600. I would also look at the specs for your stobes, in terms of T.1 and T.5 to see where they fit in with respect to sync speed.

I don't believe the back would affect the sync speed.

HI

1/800 is supported on all backs.
In order to use 1/1600 you have to have:
Leaf Credo
Phase One IQ
Leaf Aptus-II (which have the extended support)
Phase One P65+/P40+ (which have the extended support)
