Which speed can continuous focus trace?

Postby NN634695093012265813UL » Mon Feb 09, 2015 6:31 pm

Hello
Just upgraded my 645/IQ140 to 645+ and IQ250.
Can anyone help me with the specs of the continuous focus? Can it trace a faster moving object like a running horse og a sprinter?
Thanks for your support

645 is not suited for action photography so forget to try sports.

As FirstName said, the 645DF+ is not the tool for the job you're hoping to perform. Autofocus on medium format cameras is pretty slow on a good day, and continuous/server autofocus just isn't really a thing.

If you can pre-focus and wait for the horse to hit that mark, then you might get some viable images but otherwise this is a job for a high end DSLR such as a Canon 1DX or a Nikon D4x
