Hey Everyone,

I've been along time dreamer of owning a phase one. I've used several on the field both for personal work and digital teching.

I came across a demo 645DF with p30+ with lens for 4k

Not sure on the shoot count on the back.

My question is, is this a good investment? With all the new 645 ++ coming out and new backs. Is it better to wait a few years and get a new PhaseOne?

My current set up is a Nikon D800E.

Thank you so much for any that can help with a reply.

P.s yes I know cameras and tech gear are never really an investment but you know what I mean ;)

There is only one way to answer this. Get hands-on time with the kit. Shoot something similar as practically possible to what you intend to use it for. Decide if the resulting images and shooting experience is worth more to you than the price you will pay for it.

No one else can tell you this.

Presumably if it's a "demo unit" then it's from a Value Added Partner. Nearly all such dealers (ourselves included) provide some means by which to test/evaluate or otherwise get hands on with a unit prior to committing to purchase.
