RZ67 ProIID with Aptus II 8 tethered

Trying to shoot tethered with RZ67 ProIID with Leaf Aptus II 8 using Capture One v8.2.2.8
System: MacBook Pro i7, 8GB RAM

Everything works ok except the "capture" button in the CAMERA tool nor the key combo (Command K).
The shutter release works...images appear on laptop and iPhone in Capture Pilot (can't fire camera from Capture Pilot).

This option - firing camera from software doesn't work reliably with the phase one df body either.
I was told after many support case enquiries and emails with rep etc that this issue would be resolved with a new firmware release for the aptus II 8 back if I recall correctly. Issue is still pending..

I did note that upgrading to the latest version of mac os x did make some difference, you could fire the camera from the software for a while but eventually it will stop firing and the back will need rebooting.

As far as I know, remote triggering a mechanical camera is not possible.

I also have a RZ67 ProII (not D) that works perfectly. I would prefer to use the D because it the doesn't require those 2 dangling cables from back to camera.

Return to Phase One and Leaf Legacy one-shot and scan camera back
