Hello

I would like to know if a P+ digital back with firewire 400 could be tethered to the new macbook pro (i'll upgrade my laptop soon). I was wondering if a firewire cable 400/800 to a 800/thunderbolt 2 adapter to a thunderbolt 2/thunderbolt 3 would work ...

I'm also asking the question, because connectivity can be a problem with the evolution of technology and firewire 400/800 is outdated.

The only option to keep using devices with firewire, is to get a compatibility with thunderbolt 3, which will remain for many years to come i believe ... otherwise it seems better to get an IQ back for at least usb 3, or keeping a previous laptop just for tethering the P+ back.

thank you, best regards
