Mamiya ZD Stuck on Busy

Postby NNN636215050211496556 » Sun Aug 02, 2020 6:37 pm

I bought a Mamiya ZD (camera not back) as I really love the look and colour it produces. For some reason it is stuck on Busy whether a card is in there or not, whenever I put the battery in. The first thing it says is FIL 1R for a second before going to busy.

If I leave it off with the battery out for a couple of days, it starts working again for up to a few hours as long as I don't take the battery out. I am not sure what is causing this. I have tried a few different CF and SD cards, but like I said it says busy even if there is no card in there.

Anyone know what this could be or what would be needed to fix it? I know that parts aren't available, but I'm talking about proper electronics repair (replacing a a bad capacitor for example instead of a whole board).

Does anyone have a service manual and/or schematics? I would think that since Phase One stopped support for legacy products that they would make things like this available to the public?
