Mamiya 645 MF "N" 55mm vs AF (1.gen)

does anyone own these two lenses and could tell if there is a difference between the Mamiya 645 f2.8 55mm N and the AF 55mm f2.8 (first gen.) in glass quality?
or is it the same optical design just with auto focus?

Yes, the Mamiya 645 AF 55mm f2.8 (1st. Gen) vs the M645 55mm f2.8 N has a new optical design and totally new coating.
