Migration workspace tools problem

Postby NNN636337525976488022 » Mon Jun 17, 2019 4:19 pm

I'm using the Migration workspace and I'm trying to put my Library tab on the left of the screen so that I can view my files in list view - trouble is it doesn't snap? Is there any way to get it to snap to the edge?

View>Customise Browser>Place Left.

Is that what you are after?

Why do you want the Migration workspace? It is designed to have the tool tabs on the right because that looks what people are used to in Lightroom, etc. But if you don't want that maybe the default workspace would work better for you?

I've just tried it in the Migrate workspace.

However, I see a mistake in what I said before: my apologies. There are separate view options for the browser and the tools.

I should have said View>Customize Tools>Place Left. (Or if they are already on the left, you see Place Right as the option in the menu instead.)

You can't have sets of tools on both sides as a feature, but you can create almost that effect. Place your tools on the side you prefer. (Left in my case.) Create a set of floating tools from the Window menu. You can dock them one under another and drag the docked set where you want it (including outside the app window, so you can effectively have

Tools on the Left | Main Image display | Tools on the right (floating next to the app window).
