Lightroom HDR merged .DNG files into CaptureOne

Postby NN635918621433995970UL » Sun Mar 10, 2019 5:39 am

Hello,

Been searching the internet to see if this is possible with no luck. I have a few HDR merged DNGs created via Lightroom and for some reason, i cannot import them into CaptureOne for further processing. I thought CaptureOne supported DNG files. Is this not the case?

When I try to import them, CaptureOne sees them...appears to be importing them, but they never show up on my catalog.

Am I missing something?

Yes, the fact that C1 does NOT support all technically possible variants of DNG.

C1 supports "native" DNG. Scroll down to FAQ item #9 here: https://imagealchemist.net/capture-one-faq/

As far as I know, C1 supports also DNG created from camera-supported RAWs.
The only workaround I see is to create TIFFs from these DNG HDRs using Lightroom, and open them in C1.
