Capture pilot sees session but not images in the folder

Hi everyone,

I did the update to Capture Pilot and now is not working with Capture One.

It sees the session and the folders matches when I change them on Capture One but displays "No Images" in the folder, doesn't see the images.

Seems like the connection is correct but is not seeing the images? Im using a Canon Mark IV for testing.

Anyone having this problem? I use Capture Pilot for work and this is so frustrating.

Thanks!

This is not a known issue. Which platform are you on?

Hello Everyone,

Same problem here.

It is showing the server that is the session I am currently working in.

Windows 10 64 Pro with a Nikon D850.

Y'all have a great day.

It may not be a know issue to Phase One but it is an issue with me.

Roger

This issue exists but is hard to reproduce.

A hard reset of the iOS app and sometimes the C1 app (basically cycling the web server) will get you back up to speed.

Sometimes I have to switch 'Capture' folder. Sometimes I have to run my own network. Sometimes I have to pray to God it works. Your mileage may vary.

Once you catch it happening again, try and reproduce the bug or at least do a screen capture to highlight the fuck up.

Hello Everyone,

For anyone that encounters the same problem, below is what happened and how I fixed it.

The session (Server) was visible but could not go any farther. I checked Webroot, my anti-virus software, and everything else I could find. Long story short, Windows Defender was running and I did not know it. As mentioned above, Webroot is my anti-virus software so I keep Defender off. Have no idea how it became active but amazing what happened when I shut it down.

Y'all have a great evening, morning, afternoon or hope you are sleeping well.

Having this exact same problem.

Everything is set up correctly. Happens with both web and mobile connections. Sees the session folder and syncs but no images in folder. Tried switching folders and nothing solves it. Tried shutting everything down and reopening. Again, nothing working. Looking awfully stupid on set here not being able to get capture pilot to work.

Macbook pro late 2017
OSX 10.12.6
c1pro 11.1.1
current version of capture pilot on ipad air2. But as I said, same issue when connecting via web.

Any thoughts?

@johny5, have you changed your Capture folder from default to another one?

Hi All,

I bought the Camera Control app today and had a devil of a time getting it to work. I kept getting the server to appear on the mobile device, but would when I clicked the server the connection would timeout and the "server unavailable" message would appear. I was about to give up and contact tech support when the thought came to me that perhaps it was a security issue. I have a MBP running OS X 10.12.6.

Upon checking System Preferences, Security & Privacy, Firewall, Firewall Options - I found that my firewall settings prohibited all incoming connections including file sharing. Dialing back the firewall to enable file sharing did the trick and the app works fine. Which in hindsight makes sense to me that the laptop must share files with an external device. I've not found any troubleshooting advice related to firewalls.

Pray this helps someone else,

I’ve had that issue, but along with that I’ve had an issue where images stop coming in and the only way to get them to start again is to start capturing to a new folder.

I’ve had so many issues with Capture Pilot that I’ve come to the point of running external monitors mirroring the capture display.

I’ve never really felt that any actual support cases for CP is taken seriously, even though for most commercial photographers CP is a valuable resource.
