Capture One 9 Pro launch error (Windows 7)

Postby Frank1212 » Wed Sep 06, 2017 4:43 pm

Hello,

my Capture One doesn't start anymore, I get the following error:
Image

Application.log says:
2017-09-04 21:49:36.116]000]ID:007, ]{APPL } | Application started, version Capture One 9.0.0.263
2017-09-04 21:49:36.162]046]ID:007, ]{LOG } | Log file initialized.
2017-09-04 21:50:50.448]285]ID:005, Applicatio]{APPL } | Error: Crashing because of: System.NullReferenceException: Der Objektverweis wurde nicht auf eine Objektinstanz festgelegt.
**| bei P1.C1.Program.Main()

(sorry, it's German)

I tried reinstalling Capture One, but it didn't help.

I suspect the latest Windows update of being the cause. In another thread about a similar issue I read something about Visual C++. Apparently, some of the redistributable packages have been affected by the update. I reinstalled them, but it didn't help. I have
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x64) 12.0.30501
Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable (x86) 12.0.30501
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) 14.0.24215
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x86) 14.0.24215

Any ideas?

Thanks
Frank

I think you should raise a support case and send them your log files.

Yes, I did that two days ago, but so far no reaction...
