Setting Focus Trim

Postby Denverphotoscapes » Wed Oct 12, 2016 5:46 pm

When setting focus trim is there an aperture and subject distance that is preferred? The manual suggests using spot metering and that makes prefect sense. Thanks

Uptownguydenver,

Pick the distance and specific aperture you will be mainly shooting at. Set the camera on a tripod, tethered and set up a target at average shooting distance to your subject and adjust to that.
Kind regards,

There is a webinar February 15th, 2017 on this subject.

"The XF Camera System: Hyperfocal Focus with Wide Angle Lenses"

If you miss it they are recorded and can usually be accessed the next day. Should be really helpful.
