Could this be explained or expanded upon please. We all need to understand how our cameras will behave in a situation.

Yes, I'd very much like to know too, as I do a lot of handheld work when shooting wildlife.

I can only speak to my own experience, shooting mostly with the 80mm handheld in the studio. Simply put Its way more accurate and faster. I haven't really had the time to analyze how it might be working, but I am pretty happy with it. Mainly upgraded for the focus stacking feature which is crazy good.
