I just got my XF and wandered do you make XF L-plates or can I use an old one from DF?

The XF is designed to accept the same L-bracket as the DF.

The one I have from by 645DF doesn't fit completely. The pins line up but it doesn't lie flat on the bottom of the XF camera because the L bracket hits on bottom/side corner of the camera first. The L plate is branded Phase One but looks like it was made by RSS. It has the part number BPH1-L A stamped on the bottom of the bracket.

I too had no issues at all using my RSS L Plate (formerly on my DF) on the XF.
