Failure to create import folder when creating new session

HI

I am in a real pickle. Phase One tech support have not really been that useful so far. I am using Capture One DB 7.2 on Mac OS 10.9.5 and suddenly for no reason when I create a new session it fails to import image because it cannot generate an import folder. I am also using it on my laptop and it works fine. I have been using it for two yeas with no problems. I have deleted the programme and default session folder and re downloaded and installed yet it still will not generate an import folder. This is a truly vital piece of software for me and I have big studio jobs coming up and the problem has to be solved. Any one got a clue?
