Leaf Valeo 22wi doesn't connect to DM or ipaq

Hi,

Got a second hand portable setup, trying to make it work.
Leaf Valeo 22wi
Leaf DM 20gb
Ipaq hx4700 Running wiview
Macbook 13" Running leaf capture V8
Camera is a cambo SC large format

Tethered with Mac is working excellent
But can't seem to connect the back to the ipaq via bluetooth.
Wiview states "no back Found"
Leaf DM was formatted as a MS dos fat format labelled leaf-dm and arranged for portable in leaf capture V8.
I read the back should work without ipaq but it doesn't do anything

Light of thé back keeps orange all the time
Any ideas that may help to get it connected?

I submitted a ticket for support.

Accounrding to the DP-67 guide, the auxilliary port has two lights. Also for bleutooth these should blink.
orange for not connected
green for connected

these lights do not turn on when back is turned on.
I don't know wether this might be the issue. didn't consider these lights for bleutooth, since nothing is plugged in.
