LIVE VIEW VALEO 22

Postby NNN634714882643886526 » Fri Jan 10, 2014 1:08 pm

Hi there, my leaf Valeo 22 is rocking and delivering amazing files. I just got the the USB dongle that suppose to start the live view. But when i connect it, nothing append. Where suppose to be a live view and control camera panels in shot inside LEAF CAPTURE, there is nothing ( just session setup and exposure evaluation ).

I got the USB from a Valeo user that does not have this problem.

Thoughts?

Which type of camera are you using the back on? Note the the live view feature is enabled only in certain configurations; it will NOT work if it is on Mamiya AFD, Contax 645AF, Hasselblad H1/H2.

Does the dongle light up when you plug it in? If it doesn't then try re-installing Leaf Capture or reinstall the driver: inside the Leaf Capture folder there's a folder called Utilities. Inside it there's a package called AKSUSB install.pkg. double click on it and follow the instructions.

Hi Yaya, thanks again for your always quick reply.

Yes the dongle light is on and yes i was testing it on a AFD. So this might be why won't work.

I just bough a 4x5 camera, TOYO view, which i will attach to my valeo. It will work in that configuration?

I bought that dongle just for architectural….

Thanks!

Yes it'll work on your Toyo, just remember in Leaf Capture to change the camera settings to "Large Format" before you connect the back

Enjoy!

Return to Phase One and Leaf Legacy one-shot and scan camera back
