P30+ live view

Postby CVPEDU » Mon Apr 04, 2016 9:11 pm

Hi y'all, I attempted to try a live view for manual precise focusing on a studio session with my P30+ (645DF) from Capture One (9)

when I click the little icon for live view, the window pops up, shows a bunch of grain, and a message of "too dark" - the thing is, I had two Profoto D1's with 300w modeling lamps on at full power on subject face... it was very bright...

wondering if I am missing something? I'd really like to be able to live view manual focus with my MacBook Pro in studio.

Hi

This camera back is to old in order to have the function to flip the mirror and open the shutter automatically.
So here is the workaround:

thank you.
Ouch, so yea I couldn't really use that for beauty portraits... that seems it would work for landscapes.

it was my understanding the P30+ had the ability to do it.

thanks for the link.
