considering switch to PO/M DF+

Postby Michael385 » Mon Dec 02, 2013 5:30 pm

I am considering switching from my H2 over to the DF+ system..
I am intrigued by the 3 point auto-focus, among other things, but curious if anyone has had experience with both systems, and can offer their opinion between both systems.
Why or why should I not make the switch?

I believe you're in NYC right Michael?

If so, why don't you bring your H2 kit to our office (35 W 35, floor 4) and you can do some head-to-head comparisons.

The three AF points of the DF+ are quite close together, so I don't think you'll find that to be a significant advantage.

However the quality of lenses, speed/accuracy of AF (especially in lower light), and flash sync speed up to 1/1600th (with LS lenses) are all big advantages. Availability of a vertical grip, which includes a flash transmitter and LION battery bay are also big advantages if you often shoot vertical.
