Blinking exposure warnings/histogram numerically?

Postby Lucas12 » Sun Jan 30, 2005 6:04 am

I have been mainly using the histogram on my P25/H1 combo, however, I've noticed that the blown out highlights function shows 2 different indications, one a dark grey (250?) and black (255?). I would love to know at what brightness levels each of these kick in? Also, some figures below the histogram would be very helpful when in a hurry, like in the C1 application, i.e. -2, -1, 0, +1, +2 etc. Great for those of us who still think in zone system sometimes.
I'm sure i'm not the only one who finds the LCD screen isn't really the best indication of final image and has to rely on bracketing and reading
off the numbers instead.

Blinking exposure warnings/histogram numerically?

The LCD screen is really lousy when it comes to viewing the quality of the actual image. I rely totally on the histogram and blinking blown out highlights. as i mentioned in another post, i would love to have these two indicators on the same screen at the same time. eleanor
