128GB / 64 GB UDMA 7 for P 65+?

Postby NNN635911328267351580 » Mon Feb 15, 2016 11:54 am

I am using Lexar UDMA7 (1066x) 32GB for P65+, it works fine. I am looking for Sandisk ExtremePRO Compact Flash UDMA7 (160MB) 64GB / 128GB. Does anyone know that can the back support both capacities?

Thanks!

It's important to note that though UDMA7 cards are rated faster, the technology within P+ backs is unable to take advantage of this. When a UDMA7 card is mounted within a P+ back, the back reverts to PIO, which is limited to 18mb/s; you will actually see slower performance with these cards. It is highly recommended that you use UDMA4 cards (45mb/s) as that's the max for these backs.

I thought UDMA 5 was also fully supported on P65+ backs?
