What is the minimum powerup time in short latency mode for the P25?

I am not sure I understand your question.
If you ask about startup time for the back I guess it is around 2 seconds, it is very quick anyhow.

The question is about finding a more convenient way to make an exposure when the back is attached to the FlexAdapter. Now the back has to be fired two times, with appropriate electronics this could be avoided. That is why I was aking for the setup time.
I noticed that when mounted on an H1 the back fires almost immediately.
May be you could give some more info on this.

I am also considering bying an Schneider optic with electronic shutter. Is there an interface available for the P25?

Now I am with you :D

A company called Kapture Group makes a cable so you can use it as one-shot instead of the two-shot solution you are using now.

Powerup

Postby gbosch » Wed Jan 25, 2006 12:09 am

Thank you for this interesting link.
I am also considering the option of electronic shutters that have a control box which interfaces with the digital back, like Schneider has. http://www.schneideroptics.com/photogra ... cessories/
Do these boxes work well with P25 and do they also provide the powerup?
Can you give me your recommendation here?

The Rollei LensControler S works great.
The compatiblity sheet found here:
http://www.schneiderkreuznach.com/pdf/f ... trol_e.pdf
is a bit out of date (or alot in fact) but it does describe connection with a Phase One Lightphase and it does work as well with all other Phase One camera backs.

Thank you for your information. Very helpful.
I was wondering if it could be made possible to set aperture and speed through the P25 from the C1 software.
In this way working thetered with a viewcamera would be the same or even better as with a mediumformat camera. In terms of workflow this would be a major improvement.
Is it worth a Feature Request?
