Raw S artifacts?

Postby damienlovegrove » Tue Dec 07, 2004 10:01 pm

Raw S artifacts are possably present in high contrast high frequency detail. It's a fault I have with several of my files and I'm wondering if any of you have spotted similar stripes. I say stripes because they look like vertical stripes at regular intervals. Is there a way around the problem and do any of you shoot RAW L because of such issues? Phase One have the files and are analysing them as I type.

I contacted them, because I reprocessed the images in C1 3.6 and the pattern artifacts disapeared. When the two processed images are side by side the diference is really noticeable. So I'm back on the RawS for now. If you or anyone can describe the differencies of the S and L using C1 3.6.1 I'd love to hear.

Damien.
